Natural Zinc Sunscreen

Most sunscreens contain toxic ingredients or endocrine disrupting chemicals that in many cases may actually promote skin cancer growth. While that might be the lesser evil over excess tanning and sunburn, I think most of us would prefer to limit our exposure to cancer-causing ingredients whenever possible. Even commercially available “natural” sunscreens often have toxic ingredients!

I am a big advocate for adequate sun exposure, especially in this day in age where most of us spend a lot of time indoors. Vitamin D is extremely important to the health of people of all ages. However, for those times where it’s too hot to cover up or you’re spending more time in the sun than you should, this sunscreen is an amazing natural alternative. Rather than a chemical-based UV blocker, it is a physical barrier cream due to its zinc content. It is a great option for babies & young children, those taking medication that increases sun burn risk, or those who burn very easily. Thanks to its added organic shea butter, coconut oil, and raw beeswax, it will leave your skin feeling great afterwards - and the dash of peppermint oil will also leave you refreshed & smelling great.
